The Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park is in Neihu District, Taipei City. According to the Taipei City Hydraulic Engineering Office (HEO), to build a sightseeing spot that is suitable for all citizens and carries the regional features of Chengmei area, they plan a featured playground outside the embankment in Tanmei Street on the right bank of the Chengmei River. The children’s playground of the park was completed in February 2023. Various types of playground equipment are added for children to have fun.
The white ring-shaped climbing frame attracts children most. In addition to bars at different heights and in different curves, there are also the vertical ladder and climbing wall to challenge the coordination ability and courage of children.
A sandbox with fine white sand, excavator, and terrazzo slide are on the other side. Going further there are the wood-built quincuncial piles and log bridge. There is also the merry-go-round, two single-piece swings, and one bird’s nest swing. For visitors to feel more comfortable playing in the playground, there are also a cleaning area and accessible toilets. Additionally, the playground is near the famous Raohe Street Night Market. After crossing the Rainbow Footbridge, it talks about a 10-minute walk to get there for visitors to enjoy local gourmet food after playing for one day.
