Originating from the Yangmingshan National Park, the Shuangxi River meanders through Soochow University before veering towards the north side of the highway. The riverside green park extends from this point, and the riverside bikeway was built along both banks, making it the most residential and well-maintained short and exquisite route in Taipei's riverside bikeway network.
The picturesque Shuangxi riverside leads urbanites with hectic everyday schedules to discover a green tunnel that liberates their tired minds and bodies. Starting from the left bank of Shuangxi, you can connect to the right bank bike path via the Bailing Bridge. The riverside park on the right bank is a gathering place for rugby enthusiasts and football teams competing against each other. Now, avid cyclists can also experience this lush green meadow, pedaling all the way to under the Chengde Bridge, and conveniently visit Taipei's last sampan pier, “Sanjiaodu.”
length:left bank 2.8km,right bank 2.8km。
