When the Central Weather Bureau issues typhoon warnings for both land and sea areas, and alert areas including the Taipei region, the City will first dispatch the information through press releases and scrolling marquees, announcing the implementation of “exit-only” control measures for evacuation gates.
Additionally, certain sections of the red and yellow lines on the streets will be conditionally opened for public parking, and fees for some roadside parking spaces will be temporarily waived. (In the event of a typhoon-related off-day announcement, all sections of red and yellow lines in the city will be open for parking and fees for roadside parking will be temporarily waived). The city will initiate towing operations four hours after the implementation of these measures.
