Directions for Control of Special Activities in Taipei City Riverside Parks
The Taipei City Government (hereinafter "TCG") establishes these Directors for the effective management and promotion of the use of riverside parks in Taipei City (hereinafter this "City").
2. Special activities allowed for under these Directions are limited to the following. These activities shall be implemented in the venues proclaimed by the TCG:
(1) Camping.
(2) Barbecue and picnic.
(3) Setting off firecrackers and fireworks.
(4) Fishing.
(5) Other activities proclaimed by the TCG.

It was reported that anglers have injured citizens and motorcyclists passing by while drawing their fishing rods in riverside parks. Anglers are reminded that no drawing rod is allowed when fishing in the riverside parks to avoid injuring others. Notice for Campground Use in Huazhong Riverside Park

(I) Huazhong Riverside Park Campground
1. First Travel Trailer Campground: 33 campsites
2. Second Caravan Campground: 32 campsites
(II) Campsite and equipment rental:
1. Please contact the Huazhong Campground Service Center of the "Camping Association of the ROC."

Notice: Venues for camping, barbecue, picnic, setting off firecrackers and fireworks, and fishing in riverside parks are as follows:
I. Camping: Huazhong Riverside Park Campground (designated area behind the car park at upstream Huazhong River). The campground has been commissioned for private operations.
II. Barbecue and picnic:
(I) Venues for ordinary times:
1. Yanping Riverside Park: Designated areas at the square in front of Yanping Temple.
2. Huazhong Riverside Park: Designated areas in the bridge opening north of the bikeway under the Huazhong Bridge.
3. Daonan Riverside Park: Designated areas in the car park outside the levee at upstream metro bridge on the left bank and on the bikeway, and the amphitheater under the cross-levee ramp of the Hengguang Bridge on the left bank.
4. Bailing Right Bank Riverside Park: Designated areas at the plaza under the Bailing Bridge.
5. Chengmei Left Bank Riverside Park: Designated areas at the riverside trail between 320m at upstream Rainbow Bridge and 130m at the down reach of Rainbow Bridge.
6. Chengmei Right Bank Riverside Park: Designated areas at the riverside trail between the Changshou Bridge and MacArthur Bridge No. 1.
(II) Additional venues at Mid-Autumn Festival: (opening times from 17:00 one day before the long festival holiday until 24:00 of the last day of the long festival holiday).
1. Rainbow Bridge Riverside Park: Designated areas under the MacArthur Bridge No. 2.
2. Guanshan Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Neihu Bridge of the freeway.
3. Meiti Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Dazhi Bridge.
4. Dajia Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Dazhi Bridge.
5. Yuanshan Riverside Park: Designated areas around the roller rink at upstream Zhongshan Bridge.
6. Bailing Left Bank Riverside Park: Designated areas at the plaza under the Bailing Bridge and designated areas under the Zhoumei Bridge.
7. Daonan Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Wansho Bridge on the left and right banks.
8. Jingmei Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Beixin Bridge.
9. Fuhe (Xizhou) Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Fuhe Bridge.
10. Machangding Memorial Park: Designated areas in front of the plaza at the Machang Evacuation Gate.
11. Huazhong Riverside Park: Designated areas in the unoccupied idle space and the downstream circular plaza under the Huazhong Bridge and under the Guangfu Bridge.
12. Shuangxi Riverside Park: Designated areas under the Fulin Bridge and Wenchang Bridge on the left bank and designated areas under the Yunong Bridge on the right bank.
III. Venue for setting off firecrackers and fireworks
(I) Venues for ordinary times:
1. Shuanghe No. 21 Riverside Park: Dragon Boat Eye Dotting Site (no firecrackers or fireworks are allowed from 22:00 to 08:00 next day and during the eye-dotting period) (temporarily not opened).
2. Fuhe (Xizhou) Riverside Park: Within 100m at upstream Fuhe Bridge (excluding the area covered by the bridge's shadow under the Fuhe Bridge).
(II) Venues for setting off firecrackers and fireworks on New Year, Lunar New Year's Eve, Lunar New Year (1st of the first lunar month), Lantern Festival, Dragon Boat Festival, Ghost Festival, Mid-Autumn Festival, and National Day:
1. Xindian River Basin: Fuhe (Xizhou) Riverside Park: Within 100m upstream of Fuhe Bridge (excluding the area covered by the bridge's shadow under the Fuhe Bridge).
2. Tamsui River Basin: Fuan Riverside Park (excluding the pavements and wooden floor areas), Guandu Riverside Park (excluding the bikeway, wooden floor
areas, and pavements).
3. Keelung River Basin: Heshuang No. 21 Riverside Park (Dragon Boat Eye Dotting Site) (temporarily not opened)
IV. Fishing venues: All are open, except for wetlands, wharfs (including rescue piers), and within 20m at upstream and downstream areas, wild duck reserves, nature park (reserves), and the groins and tetrapod in all river systems.
V. The range of venues opened for special activities is shown in the attached map or onsite instructions. In addition, the venues for special activities are subject to change due to actual needs.
