Dajia Water Play Area
Hot summer is coming, let's keep cool at Dajia Water Play Area Besides being the sand play paradise for parents and children, the large sandpit along the Dajian River is a children's water play area in summer. Water will be sprayed on the sandpit from 15:00 to 18:00 on Saturdays and Sundays from June to September. The water play area is also opened holidays (water will be sprayed on the sandpit from 15:00 to 18:00), Dragon Boat Festival, and Mid-Autumn Festival. Facilities in the area include sprinklers of different shapes: big circles, columns, big flowers, etc.; all are lovely and interesting, and absolutely free. Extra sessions are planned for the summer break. July–August the Dajia Water Play Area is available every day. Water will be sprayed at 10:00–10:40, 11:00–11:40, and 15:00–18:00. Visit the Dajia Riverside Park in summer to enjoy the fun of sand and water play.

How to get to the Children's Water Play Area at the Dajia Riverside Park?
Enter from the Keelung River Floodgate 8 (Binjiang Evacuation Gate) or 9 (Dajia Evacuation Gate). Turn left and go straight on to the Hope Fountain. It is in front of the fountain.
Bus: No. 72 or 222 (Dajia Section of the Dajia Riverside Park), or M9 (Floodgate 8 Stop).
Metro: At the Taipei Metro Yuanshan Station, take bus No. R34 (Floodgate 8 Stop, service on holidays only).

Guandu Dry Fountain
There is a dry fountain at the Guandu Wharf Plaza. It is opened since June every year. The water spray times are 17:00-20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays during June-September, and from 17:00-20:00 daily during July-August. The landscape dry fountain has 26 nozzles equipped with different colors of LEDs. The Guandu Landscape Dry Fountain is for the landscape purpose. Citizens are not recommended to frolic inside. However, the changes in lights and shadows will bring a cool and romantic feel.
