Painting on the inside of the embankment; No. 1, Section 2, Academia Road, Nangang District

The project is located near the Academia Sinica.

The designer, Jie-Min Wu, used the Academia Sinica as the theme of the project.

Academia Sinica has made many important contributions to Taiwan, whether it is AI robotics re-search, animal breeding or ecological conservation, etc., all of which are within the scope of their research work. We combined the concept of pumping station and robot to create a robot that be-longs to Academia Sinica!

“Gulu-Gulu-Gulu ......” Hydration is fundamental to the body's functioning, and even a robot is no exception. Every day, he repeats the action of sucking up water, draining it, and then sucking it up again. The water that he sucks up from the straw flows around his body and then he goes to various places to carry out statistical analyses and researches, just like a researcher at the Academia Sinica; and even though such researches and statistics may be small and unnoticeable, they are an important part of daily functioning.

The designers playfully transformed the pumping station and the embankment into a robot to welcome pedestrians.
