Painting on the inside of the embankment between No. 100 Tanmei Street and Cheng Mei Bridge, Neihu District

Artist Pu Chen worked with the students from Tanmei Elementary School to create a painting with the theme of riverbank protection. In order to help the children understand more about nature, the Hydraulic Engineering Office invited Teacher Ku-Ming Tang to lead a botanical teaching workshop in which children could learn about the richness of nature's colors and cultivate the ability to observe through the course. In the second stage, Artist Pu Chen took over the lead and guided the children to learn about the possibilities of creating with various media through interactive design workshops. Through the AR interactive art app, the children could experience the fun of creating their own art-works.

Finally, the children's designs were used as materials for the creation of this artwork, "Riverbank Guard," in which the intention of these little riverbank guards to protect the riverbanks of Taipei City was displayed on the riverbank embankment with various creative colors and patterns.
