1.Participants should follow the traffic safety rules and pay attention to their own safety and the surrounding traffic conditions during the event, and the organizer will not be held responsible for any safety issues.
2.Participants should pay attention to their personal health and physical condition. If you feel unwell during the ride, please halt activity immediately and seek medical attention as your safety should be the top priority. In the event of any accidents, the organizers will not be held responsible for any safety issues.
1.The organizing authority, Taipei City Government Public Works Department Hydraulic Engineering Office (hereinafter referred to as “HEO”), is committed to ensuring the protection of personal data. Pursuant to the Personal Data Protection Act (hereinafter referred to as “PDPA”), the following matters are hereby declared: In accordance with relevant laws and regulations, the HEO will collect your and others’ personal data, including names, ID numbers, birthdates, addresses, phone numbers, and email addresses, within the scope and duration approved by the competent authority for the purpose of organizing/co-organizing/assisting in events. When the HEO needs to collect, process, or utilize your personal data for the above-mentioned reasons, you can freely choose whether to provide your personal data. If you choose not to provide your personal information or if you provide incomplete information, you may not be able to successfully register for this campaign. Regarding the personal data you provide, you can exercise the following rights as stipulated in Article 3 of the PDPA:
Inquire or request access to your personal data.
Request a copy of your personal data.
Request additions or corrections to your personal data.
Request to suspend the collection, processing or use of your personal data.
Request the deletion of your personal data.
If you wish to exercise the rights mentioned above, you may contact the HEO.
2.In order to facilitate the smooth execution of future activities and policy planning, participants in this event agree that during the event, information such as riding distance, time, and route obtained from various riding apps that do not involve personal data or that have been de-identified may be provided to the HEO free of charge for planning and analysis.
1.The organizer reserves the right to amend, change or terminate the content of this activity at any time without prior notice.
2.In the event of force majeure circumstances, such as the spread of computer viruses, program vulnerabilities, computer worms, Trojan horses, denial of service attacks, unauthorized interference, fraud, technical accidents, or any other reasons beyond the control of the organizing authority, resulting in the inability to proceed with the event, the organizing authority has the right to decide to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the event. The organizing authority shall not be liable for any compensation or indemnification in such cases.
3.By signing up for this program, the participant agrees to waive and exempt the organizer, its partners, affiliated companies, advertising agencies, agents, and their employees, managers, directors, and representatives from any liability for any claims, losses, and damages arising from their participation in this event, as well as the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of registration rewards. The organizer shall not be responsible for the following situations: errors, omissions, interruptions, data deletions, or losses, defects, or delays caused during person-to-person operations or file transmission; line failures; theft, damage, or unauthorized access to registration data not caused by the organizing authority’s intent; or alterations to registration data. The organizing authority shall also not be responsible for any problems or technical malfunctions related to telephone networks or lines, computer network systems, servers and providers, computer equipment, and software, as well as any issues arising from network or website technology or connection, human error in operation, or a combination of multiple factors that result in the delay of sending and receiving email messages, including damages to the participants and related individuals’ computer equipment caused by participating in this event, uploading, or downloading related event documents.
4.In case of any unresolved issues, the final announcement of the Organizer shall prevail.
