In order to encourage the public to participate in the campaign and continue to complete the tasks of the event every month. Lucky draws will be held every 3 months during the event period. The more you ride, the higher your chances of winning!
The number of verified Challenge Ride and Easy Ride qualifying logs for the Velodash account in a 3-month period is counted. The “Challenge Ride” and “Easy Ride” lucky draw chances are counted together, with a maximum of 9 chances.
(A) “Challenge Ride”: Each qualified record earns 2 chances for the draw. However, within a single qualified record, regardless of the distance covered, it will only count as 2 chances. Different qualified records can accumulate lucky draw chances.
(B) “Easy Ride”: For every 66K miles accumulated over a 3-month period, you will be entitled to 1 lucky draw entry. Miles less than 66K will be unconditionally discarded (no chance to accumulate lucky draw entries for the next quarter).
Example 1: Xiao Ming completed 1 (A) “Challenge Ride” qualifying record every month from July to September (2*3 months=6 times) and accumulated (B) “Easy Ride” qualifying mileage up to 198K (198/66=3 times), the chance of the lucky draw = (A) 6 times + (B) 3 times = 9 times.
Example 2: Shan Shan’s July-September (B) “Easy Ride” qualifying mileage reached 625K (625/66 rounded up to the nearest 9). Chance of lucky draw = (B) 9times.
Example 3: Ah Zheng has 4 (A) “Challenge Ride” qualifying records in July, and (B) “Easy Ride” qualifying mileage reached 198K (198/66=3 times). The chance of prize-drawing = (A) 8 times + (B) 3 times = 11 times, which already exceeds more than the upper limit of the chance of drawing the lucky draw for that quarter, so the chance of drawing the lucky draw is still counted as 9 times.

1. “Challenge Ride” and “Easy Ride” 3-month lucky draw opportunities can be combined, up to a maximum of 9 times, each Velodash account, each wave of the lucky draw up to 9 lucky draw opportunities.
2. The qualifications and winning records of this activity are based on the information recorded in the organizer’s system. After the end of each wave of the lucky draw, the eligibility for the lucky draw and the accumulated mileage of “Easy Ride” will be zeroed out and recalculated.
3. Each Velodash account can only win once in each wave of the lucky draw, and the prize with the highest total value of winnings for that account will be rewarded.
4. Participants must guarantee that all information provided is true and correct, and that they have not fraudulently used or stolen the information of any third party. The Organizer reserves the right to revoke the eligibility to participate in the lucky draw and win the prize if there is any falsification of identity or information provided. If any damage is caused to the organizer or any other third party, the participant shall be held legally responsible and disqualified from winning the prize.
5. The organizer, the Hydraulic Engineering Office of the Public Works Department, Taipei City Government, will collect, process and use participants’ personal information within the scope of the purpose of this activity. If a participant is unwilling to provide or exercise his/her right to request to stop collecting, processing and utilizing his/her personal information and to delete his/her personal information in accordance with Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act, he/she is deemed to have automatically waived his/her eligibility to participate in the event or to win the prize.
6. The list of winners will be published on the official website of the HEO (link) and the “Taipei Hydraulic Engineering Office” Facebook fan page (link), and winners will be notified by email provided during their participation in this activity.
7. Winners will be required to cooperate with the organizer to collect the prizes. Prizes will be delivered by mail or picked up in person at the location designated by the organizer, within the R.O.C. only and will not be sent overseas; if returned, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited his/her eligibility to receive the prize and no replacement will be made.
8. This program is an opportunity to win a prize and is subject to income tax reporting requirements. If the value of the prize exceeds NT$1,000, it shall be included in the winner’s annual comprehensive income. If the value of the prize exceeds NT$20,001 (inclusive), the winner shall be responsible for 10% of the value of the prize in taxes (20% for non-ROC nationals or foreigners), and shall cooperate with the organizer to handle the withholding of taxes before receiving the prize, as well as handling related matters. The organizer will cooperate with the organizer to handle the withholding and payment of related matters. If there are any updates or changes to the above tax regulations, the latest version shall apply.
9. If the winner is unwilling to pay the tax or other reasons that can be attributed to the winner and cannot complete the procedures to receive the prize, he/she is considered to have automatically forfeited his/her eligibility to win the prize, and no further claims may be made thereafter.
10. Prizes are subject to availability, and color selection is not possible. In the event of stock shortages or factors beyond control, the organizer reserves the right to substitute with items of equivalent value. Winners cannot request the conversion, transfer, or cash redemption of prizes, and no third party may claim on behalf of the participant. The warranty period for prizes is subject to the supplier’s terms; winners should contact the supplier directly. Except for the prizes, the winners will be responsible for all other expenses incurred.
11. The Organizer reserves the right to amend, change or terminate the content of this activity at any time. In case of any unresolved issues, the organizer’s relevant rules or interpretations shall prevail.
