Xizhou Riverside Park

Riverside Parks in Taipei

Located between the Yongfu Bridge and the confluence of the Xindian and Jingmei rivers, the park occupies an area of about 142,831m2.

The park is close to the Gongguan shopping area with convenient transportation. Next to the Taipei Water Park is a dedicated urban bikeway for both bicycles and pedestrians to easily access the park. At the Gongguan Riverside Plaza there is the Jingfu Bike Rental Station. Visitors taking Taipei Metro to the park can rent a bike here for a riverside cycling trip. The kiosk at the Gongguan Riverside Plaza has a simplistic style. The sharp colors of the Yongfu Bridge are thrown across the sky and project a gigantic shadow for shading heat.

Besides a climbing wall with moderate difficulty, there is also a bouldering gym suitable for families to enjoy climbing and bouldering in the park. However, visitors should pay attention to their own safety. Children must be attended by parents or other adults when climbing or bouldering to ensure safety. When coming near to the Yongfu Bridge, cyclists mustn't forget to stop by to visit the Treasure Hill, the last mountain city in Taipei. When entering the hill, it is like visiting another time-space where you can feel the touching stories echo from the past.
